Careers

We hire deliberately. We publish the salary band.

Four open roles right now. We typically run a structured four-stage process — application, take-home (paid for non-engineering roles, optional for engineering), two pairing interviews, and a reference check.

Engineering·Singapore·Full-time

Senior Data Engineer — Pipeline

Own and extend the daily competitor signal collection pipeline — scrapers, sitemap diff, social listening adapters, news ingestion. You will spend most of your time making things reliable, not novel.

S$140k-180k base + equity (0.05% – 0.15%)
Responsibilities & requirements
Responsibilities
  • Own the scraping fleet and the per-competitor adapters
  • Add a new signal source roughly once a quarter — current backlog: TikTok ad library, Reddit threadwatcher, EU Trustpilot
  • On-call rotation (one in four weeks) for the daily signal collection
  • Pair with the rules-engine team on schema changes
Requirements
  • 5+ years professional engineering, 2+ on data-pipeline work
  • TypeScript or Python at production scale
  • Comfortable with browser automation (Playwright, Puppeteer)
  • Pragmatic about reliability — we value 'works for the customer for 18 months' over 'novel architecture'

To apply: send a one-page cover note plus CV to careers@marketwatchintel.io with the subject line "senior-data-engineer".

  • Quarterly business review with each customer

Responsibilities & requirements

  • Partner with Iris's team on the pilot brief during pilot
  • Maintain a tight HubSpot pipeline (yes, we use our own product to monitor our competitors)
Requirements
  • 5+ years closing SaaS, 2+ years closing 5-figure-plus contracts

Insights·Singapore·Full-time

Insights Analyst — Scale Tier

Iris's team. You will write the editorial layer for our Scale-tier customers' weekly briefs — the human-written introduction, the analyst's note that goes beneath the deterministic findings, the quarterly review.

S$95k-125k base + equity (0.01% – 0.04%)
Responsibilities & requirements
Responsibilities
  • Write the weekly editorial intro for 4-6 Scale accounts
  • Maintain the customer-specific voice profile in the system prompt
  • Quarterly category review — written report, not slides
  • Audit a sample of language-model output every week and publish the hit-rate to the engineering team
Requirements
  • 3+ years as a sector analyst, journalist, or strategy consultant
  • Editorial writing samples we can read
  • Comfortable saying 'no' to a customer who wants the brief to read more like marketing
  • Curious about how the deterministic-vs-language-model split works — you don't need to write code, but you need to understand the architecture to argue for changes

To apply: send a one-page cover note plus CV to careers@marketwatchintel.io with the subject line "analyst-scale-tier".
